AccuHealth: Where Wellness Meets Innovation
The AccuHealth story begins in the early 1990s, when physical therapists Carl Contino, MS, DAPT, and William (Bill) Holl, DAPT, were conducting functional capacity evaluations (FCEs) in their clinics. What they discovered was clear: FCEs were slow, complicated, and inconsistent. At the time, the solutions available required costly equipment, intensive training, and restrictive multi-year contracts—yet still struggled to deliver accurate results.
Carl and Bill believed there had to be a better way. They envisioned an affordable, evidence-based solution that made evaluations accurate, easy to complete, and legally defensible. Over the next decade, they built and refined their own FCE software, testing it on hundreds of patients. Clinicians valued its simplicity, reliability, and professional reporting. Clinics saw new efficiency, higher staff productivity, and improved profitability.
By 2016, demand for their solution had outgrown their own practices. To scale the technology, Carl and Bill partnered with healthcare technologist Steve Stanko, and in 2018 launched webFCE—a breakthrough software platform that enabled clinicians nationwide to conduct evaluations with confidence, generate professional-grade reports, and boost clinic revenue.
Since then, webFCE has expanded far beyond FCEs. Today, the platform supports a complete suite of occupational and clinical tools, including Fall Risk Assessments, Functional Fitness Screens, Health Risk Assessments, Physical Abilities Testing, Fit-for-Duty Exams, and Performance Testing.
As healthcare evolved, so did the company. To meet the growing demand for preventive health and wellness solutions, AccuHealth was launched as the Health & Wellness division of the organization.
AccuHealth focuses on evidence-based insight to help clinicians, athletic trainers, chiropractors, gyms, family practices, and other organizations grow their businesses while improving patient outcomes. Our market-leading solutions—Fall Risk Assessment, Health Risk Assessments, Functional Fitness Testing, the Senior Fitness Suite, and the Body Roundness Index (BRI)—are designed to be elegantly simple to use, clinically reliable, and revenue-ready.
From gyms to family practices, AccuHealth empowers professionals to expand services, create new revenue streams, and deliver better health outcomes with confidence.
